Capture RFID (Radio Frequency Identifier), NFC (Near Field Communication) GPS and other readings is a snap with SerialMagic.
Shown is Pharos GPS 535v Windows Mobile 5 PDA with Wavetrend L-RX300 RFID reader attached.
Note: This solution can also work with other PDA devices like the Dell Axim X51 using Bluetooth GPS.
Data is captured to Grid-In-handTM Mobile Grid feature of SerialMagic Professional Power Upgrade.
Data can be up loaded to anywhere on the Internet with the press of a button.

RFID tag used in this example is Wavetrend L-TG801 Small Asset Tag.
The system is very flexible in that RFID reader can be powered via BlueSnap module
(when powered by USB cable or battery) allowing RFID readings to be sent wirelessly
via Bluetooth into hundreds of models of mobile devices as shown below.
Many combinations other than shown are possible, e.g. using RFID over Bluetooth when mobile device has built-in GPS.

Important Notes:
1) When using BlueSnap Standard (DB9 Male) module with Wavetrend L-RX300 RFID reader as shown above
regulated power must be supplied to the BlueSnap e.g. using USB connection that provides properly regulated power
(all normal powered USB ports will provide regulated power when working according to USB specification)
or using an approved BlueSnap AC adapter.
2) BlueSnap must be setup to supply power to the Wavetrend L-RX300 reader.
When purchasing a BlueSnap for use with Wavetrend L-RX300 RFID reader be sure to indicate this at the time of your order.
You can request setup instructions (soldering may be required) or request the module pre-setup a setup fee may apply.
