The BlueSnap USB Bluetooth radio dongles for Linux, and Windows provide seamless connectivity for many devices like the LaserChamp Bluetooth scanner. The BlueSnap Bluetooth is superior to many Bluetooth dongles since it can be programmed using most standard serial port software. The BlueSnap can act as a Bluetooth Master, or Bluetooth Slave, and even has a Service Master mode where it will auto-connect to any Bluetooth device with PIN authentication enabled. BlueSnap parameters like Bluetooth passkey (aka PIN number) can be easily can be programmed using most standard serial terminal software like HyperTerm. On the PalmOS the BlueSnap can be programmed using SerialMagic Professional Tx.
