There are many ways to install SerialMagic Gears on your Android device.

Installation via Google Play
(recommended for latest updates and easy installation)
Play install option 1 - Push the app from the web:
Click here to visit the Google Play webpage for SerialMagic Gears and click Install to automatically install the application to your phone (must log into Google account used on the Android device).
Play install option 2 - Direct link to Play (click from your Android device):
Click here from your Android device to install SerialMagic Gears or search "SerialMagic" on the Google Play.
Play install option 3 - Scan a barcode from your Android device to launch the Play app:
Use camera scanner to scan this 2D barcode (QRCode) with the free Barcode Scanner application from ZXing Team: Click here to display 2D Barcde (QRCode)
After barcode is scanned, tap the "Open Browser" button and the Google Play will be shown with the Gears application. Tap "Install" to complete the installation.
Alternate Installation
(if Google Play is not available, or you don't want to have Gears updated automatically.)
To install Grid-In-Hand Mobile Grid on Android, the first step is to enable "Unknown Sources":
Andorid 2.x, 3.x Android Settings app > Applications
Android 4.x Android Settings app > Security
1) From your Android device browser, tap this link to download SerialMagic Gears.
Open the notifications area of the Android device (slide a finger from the top of the screen to the bottom),
and you will see the download progress, or download complete notification depending on the speed of your connection.
When the download is complete, click on the SerialMagicGears.apk Download complete notification to install.

2) For this option, the camera scanner app is required on the Android device.
The app can be found in the Google Play - Name: "Barcode Scanner"
Use the camera scanner to scan the following barcode - Click here to display 2D barcode (QRCode)
After it is scanned, you'll see the following screen:
Tap on the "Open Browser" button to begin the download of SerialMagic Gears in the background. The device should return to the Barcode Scanner application. Exit the Barcode Scanner application by pressing the Android Back or Home key.
After a moment, the download will have completed and you will receive a notification.
To see your notifications, slide a finger from the top of the screen where the clock is located to the bottom, and a new pane will cover the screen, showing active notifications. Tap on the "Download Complete" notification to begin installation of SerialMagic Gears.
Complete installation by tapping on the "Install" button. SerialMagic Gears will be installed to the device and can be found with the rest of the applications on the device. After the installation is complete, one more dialog will be presented, asking you if you wish to "Open," which will open SerialMagic Gears immediately, or you may choose "Done" which will take you back to where you were before installation began.
3) Load with adb. Recommended for the technically inclined.
This is very fast and easy when you have a PC, Mac, or Linux machine setup with the Android SDK.

USB debugging must be enabled on the device. Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging
Use the adb command to install the SerialMagic Gears app. e.g. "adb install -r SerialMagicGears.apk"
